Supplement companies lie.
Instagram filters lie.
Photoshop definitely lies. But a real picture taken at the same exact place with the same exact lighting will tell the true story of how you are progressing with your physique.
The last time we did a physique progress report on my main man Ish was in January.
The results were astounding. He had less body fat, more muscle, increased strength, and more importantly a better state of mind.
Well here we are in April for the third round of his progress pictures and I will tell you this…this man continues to make great progress despite a slight groin pull earlier this year.
He has consistently trained 3-4 days weekly in this phase. The groin pull was nagging and affecting certain lifts, but we trained around it and got stronger in other moves.
No lame excuses were made. Bucket squats and walking lunges were out for a while, but barbell hack squats, glute-ham raises, and hip thrusts were in and they improved drastically.
We have recently added in sprints due to the groin feeling better as the injury would have been aggravated by the sprints a few weeks ago.
The bottom line is that if your program is designed around the ideas of progression, accountability, and consistency then you can truly build a stunning physique. And that is what the Fit Coast Offense is all about.
If your program is designed around the ideas of overnight success, no accountability, and inconsistent habits then you will look like the 95% of people who have been “training” for years…below average to average at best.
At the 7 month mark, Ish is looking fantastic and we have not even scratched the surface of where he will be. Stay tuned for more updates in the future.
