Hey, everyone, it is Motivational Monday!
Many folks in the game are suffering from a lack of results.
They go to the gym.
They make decent meals occasionally.
But they just are not seeing the results they want to see. Why?
They are not as committed as they want to believe. Without being truly committed to change, you will always fall short.
I have known many folks who for years go to the gym for 4-5 days every single week. They may even post a healthy meal every so often on social media. But their physiques and their performances never change. In fact, they get worse.
This can only be described as extremely frustrating.
There is one principle that I want to share today that shows the difference between being committed and just playing around. That principle is:
1) You are either in or you are out
There is no time for halfway lifters.
There is no time for halfway trainers.
No time for halfway bodybuilders or halfway athletes.
Being halfway committed will garner halfway results. Like the kids say today, “Ain’t nobody got time for that!”
The C-line or commitment line is the line that separates who is seeing progress and who is not.
If you are over the C-line then you are committed to making progress and unleashing your inner greatness. If you are behind the C-line then you are not truly serious about reaching your goals. Actions always speak much louder than hollow words and promises.
When you are committed to real changes it takes more than just showing up at the gym.
It takes more than just going through the motions.
It takes more than doing the same program you have been doing since baggy jeans were in style.
It takes more than taking supremely angled and edited selfies in the corner of the gym to post on Facebook for cheap likes.
Real commitment trains when nobody is watching and there are no likes to be had.
Real commitment accepts that the better you get, the harder your training gets.
Real commitment goes above and beyond for results instead of settling for average.
When you are committed to real changes it takes more than just posting a healthy meal on social media to get attention.
Real commitment is preparing the majority of your meals throughout the week.
Real commitment is consistently planning your pre and post workout nutrition.
Real commitment is not eating whatever you want just because it is available.
The difference between you winning or losing the physique game will be your commitment. If you are not truly committed to changing your situation then it will not happen.
I was a lousy sprinter my freshman year at East Stroudsburg University because I was not truly committed to getting better. When I got serious about running faster times, I became a better sprinter.
I was running a hollow business during the first 3 years of Fitman Performance Training because I was not 100 percent committed to making my business grow. When I zoned in on making it grow, it grew.
This week I challenge you to commit.
Commit to lifting heavier weights.
Commit to preparing more meals.
Commit to having a positive outlook on your situation. Real commitment accepts the setbacks and hardships as part of the journey.
If you truly commit, I promise you that you will be on your way to making your goals a reality.
I’ll holla at you next time.
