Everybody in sports wants to know how to sprint faster, but nobody wants to actually train for speed.
Most “speed” training is completely misguided.
Training for pure speed is not high-volume conditioning workouts.
Training for speed is not bodybuilding.
Training for speed is not running through an agility ladder
Training for speed is not performing tempo runs with short recoveries.
Training for speed puts the top priority on speed.
Putting the emphasis on true speed training is important but there is something else that must put a major emphasis on as well. There is one thing that you can do, starting today that will increase your performance in your next sprinting workout.
Doing this one thing is directly connected to sprinting performance because it will have your central nervous system super refreshed and powerful. A fresh CNS is a major key to sprinting faster and you will literally feel like the Flash when you hit the track because your battery will be completely recharged.
If you are not serious about adding this element to your speed training, then you are not serious about getting faster. You will not be able to ever reach your maximum speed without it.
